PRTR Non-point source emissions
Methodology
The non-point source emissions are calculated as the difference between the total national emissions and data reported under the E-PRTR. For air pollutant emissions, emission data reported under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (UNECE CLRTAP) and the EU National Emission Ceilings Directive (2001/71/EC, NECD) are used, while to calculate greenhouse gas emissions, emission data reported under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) are used.
