Research programmes
The research programmes of Finland's environmental administration comprehensively examine the state of the environment, environmental trends, the impacts of human activity, and the interactions between all these factors. Research may examine precise details or complex wide-ranging issues; it can focus on the present situation or long-term trends; and it may concern local issues or global problems.
