Can Nordic amphibians be saved?

The world's amphibian populations have declined dramatically because of habitat changes, climate change and deceaces. The situation in the Nordic Countries isn't yet quite as bad as globally, and here several conservation measures have been succesful. So there is still hope for our amphibians, if conservation is continued.

The year of the frog 2008 has been promoted also in Nordic zoos and aquaria, that carry out important conservation and communication work. They both feature live frogs and distrubute information.
